Pros
- very efficient building and work space.
- there is always an event for employees to socialize
-they have a really good christmas party
- you get both American and Canadian holidays off
-you will gain a lot of experience (at least in your first year)
-contrary to popular belief, I liked most of the executives on the finance team
Cons
-As a contract worker, they do not care about you. They would try to extend your contract as long as they can. Extending it in patterns that would not get HR in trouble and would screw you over if anything
- Your salary would not match your workload.
-No work-life balance; especially for single individuals. They expect work to be your sole focus. But watch your bosses go home at 5pm to meet their lovely family while you stay till 8-9pm, go home and still work from home. you+work= their definition of your ideal relationship
-Most people I met there have been in the same position for 4-5 years. very limited growth
- Work instability. Someone was always getting fired
-MAJOR office politics.
