Pros
I love the work that DAI does around the world and to come to work everyday knowing that is a privilege. Being surrounded by technical staff who are experts in their field makes it easy to learn new things and absorb knowledge. It is also fairly easy to transfer from one business unit to another, and DAI offers a lot of opportunities to grow within the company as a professional.
Cons
Regional management team is prone to valuing people from outside the company than promoting from within the regional staff. No salary parity—given the transparency of salaries around here, it’s awkward and quite insensitive that salaries are not on even playing fields. Some poor upper management staff can create bad feelings within the associates/PMs. These very apparent issues often leads to discontent among staff who then move on from the company to better-paying opportunities elsewhere (either within the company or externally).
