I have been working at DISH full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Pay checks don't bounce. Solid work flow. Company is not okay with being average; always looking to the future and how to be better than the rest. Vast resources to get the job done.

Cons

Core hours. Unable to work remotely. Very out dated policies and procedures, and a lot of red tape to achieve goals.

Advice to Management

The wireless possibility is creating quite an internal buzz. Look to your existing employees to staff the new opportunity and reinvigorate them. We now live in a mobile world, with call forwarding and VPN; look to provide work at home days and allow us to be the adults we are.

    Pros

    Good pay, lots of hours, always hiring bc people quit daily. Overtime and holiday pay, paid time off.

    Cons

    Probably work weekends, shifts change often and you have to bid for them, have to apply for time off and are most likely gonna be working odd hours.

    Advice to Management

    Stop worrying about agents stats so much and concentrate more on cust satisfaction, and the percent of issues fixed instead of if it took them 30 secs too long on the call. If the customer is happy, they will stay with the company.

    Salary, team members, training & QA depts, supervisors, over all friendly atmosphere from upper management, our will to succeed, the schedule

    Negative response to the job from other agents who are dissatisfied

    Advice to Management

    Make the atmosphere to phone agents more lively so they aren't so unhappy or recommend things that can help them grow stronger or understand their business better.
