Pros

Opportunity to work remotely with a distributed team They work with some great clients

Cons

The core issue is the CEO’s highly controlling leadership style. Decision-making is top-down, with little trust, and leadership does not effectively advocate for their teams or push back. Communication is inconsistent and unclear, creating friction in the remote environment. Workloads are high, long hours are normalized, and burnout is common, with little-to-no emphasis on work-life balance. The broader team is capable and collaborative, but the environment limits their ability to do their best work. Compensation is not competitive, and employees are generally underpaid relative to the market. Input is rarely incorporated into goals or processes, and opportunities to drive change are often overridden. Overall, leadership seems more invested in how the company (and CEO) is perceived externally than in addressing internal culture and employee experience.
