Pros

A lot depends on the team you are part of. There are some great leaders in the organisation that are a privilege to work with. Most leaders are approachable and supportive It is an employee friendly organisation, good bonus when the company is doing well, good gifts, rewards and benefits

Cons

Again, a lot depends on the team you are part of but in general, the culture has become toxic in the last couple of years. There have been multiple organisational changes and looks like there is a lack of a strong role model now. E.g. Individuals and teams competing with each other, stealing credit for work, putting each other down. The focus is on individual growth rather than doing what is right for the organisation. Flat structure is an eyewash, things are highly bureaucratic. Those who are good at the corporate bs by stealing credit of others work, forming strong connections with the right LT get to grow to higher ranks. Do not expect to learn much from peers either. The environment is demotivating for those who love their work and want to bring a positive change because many leaders act on their own agenda rather than doing what is right thus curbing potential and opportunities.

Pros

Pay & Benefits are wonderful

Cons

Unrealistic expectations towards employees Insurance benefits *Managers* are composed of front-line production leads and those who may oversee or supervise.* The work-life balance is severely lacking, and there are biased managers who add negative connotations to peers' actions without any solid evidence or knowledge. Furthermore, these managers often lack technical expertise regarding machinery and engage in excessive micromanagement of employees. The workplace lacks diversity as defined, and the hiring representatives are typically the same floor leads that micromanage peers creating unfair hiring process at Diageo. Many individuals who have encountered the corrupt practices lead reps in previous jobs are frequently denied opportunities.
