Pros
Some very smart and tech savy engineers, opportunities to learn, full stack opportunities, trendy tech stack (some teams), WFH flexibility
Cons
Below market salary, basic benefits, no bonuses, difficult to get annual increases, below average parental leave, upper management as a whole, policies inherited from Enterprise (parent company) which hinder ability to recruit quality engineers, incredibly high turnover, somehow there isn't clear criteria about career progression still, which is insane..... old school corporate mentality masquerading as a "tech company" which leads to product management group hindering engineers' ability to grow. Saving the best 'con' for last - would rather hire dozens of contractors or new employees than give existing employees raises to keep them from leaving.
