Pay is excellent. Benefits are excellent. Used to be Really Great Training. First level management were treated pretty well for a long time

Since being purchased by Fairpoint the company has gone down hill fast. Employees fought the sale but Fairpoint Promised so much it went through. Promised to hire 300 people. Every single day there were new e-mails welcoming so & so as a New VP..Every Single Day. They went bankrupt after the 1st year. All the New VP's were gone but so were the New Hires who had all been trained and were needed in the departments they worked. First level management now treated Very Badly and like any company the1st levels are the ones doing All the Work. Second levels were so bored they would just walk around the building all day criticizing Employees. Contract ended 8/2/14. Company put forward 65 Changes and Walked Away from Negotiations!! Union put forward contract which would SAVE the Company MILLIONS $$$. Never, ever had that happen in Over 27 Years. Fairpoint is No Good at running a Big Corporation! Previous names New England Telephone, Nynex, Bell Atlantic & Verizon Always put Customers First. Fairpoint, Not at all.
