Pros

-Some talented and passionate colleagues remain. -Initial mission around wellness and purpose-driven work was inspiring. -Flexible work environment in earlier phases.

Cons

-Company has lost sight of its core mission. Wellness is no longer the priority—revenue and sales targets dominate every decision. -Leadership speaks negatively about former employees, creating a toxic culture of distrust and fear. -High turnover and low morale across teams. -Strategic vision often shifts based on short-term gains rather than long-term impact.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that your time at FitPros ended with these feelings, especially after several years with the company. FitPros has always been rooted in a mission to support whole-person wellbeing, and we recognize that living that mission internally is just as important as delivering it to our clients. Over the past few years, our team has navigated real business challenges, including revenue pressure, shifting priorities, and difficult decisions around team structure and performance expectations. We know those changes impacted people, and we are genuinely sorry for the ways they may have felt heavy, unclear, or misaligned with the culture you first joined. We also take feedback about trust, morale, and communication seriously. As a leadership team, we continue to reflect on how we communicate during challenging seasons, how we support employees through change, and how we create a culture where accountability and respect can exist together. We appreciate your acknowledgment of the talented and passionate people at FitPros. That remains true today, and we are committed to continuing to build a company culture that honors our mission, our clients, and the people who help bring our work to life.

Pros

Supportive, nimble team that genuinely wants to help each other succeed and grow. People are approachable, collaborative, and willing to jump in when someone needs help. Even with high expectations and ambitious goals, there’s also a real emphasis on wellness and work-life balance — which feels authentic given the programs we provide to clients. I truly feel the company practices what it promotes when it comes to encouraging employees to take care of themselves and prioritize their health. Our Founder/CEO, Lindsay, and COO, Andrew, bring valuable leadership experience from top companies and are invested in helping employees grow professionally. The company regularly brings in excellent coaches and development resources, which has been a huge benefit. I’ve also appreciated that feedback and new ideas are welcomed, regardless of title or tenure.

Cons

Being part of a smaller team has a lot of advantages, but transitions can feel more noticeable and impactful. A couple of years ago, there was a period with a lot of change and turnover, which could sometimes feel challenging. Thankfully, things have stabilized significantly, and the team now feels very cohesive, productive, and efficient.

Pros

FitPros has a strong culture of collaboration and supportive teammates, which makes day-to-day work enjoyable. People genuinely care about the company's mission and about one another on a human level, and there is a sense of mutual support across teams. The type of work and clients we support are also very rewarding and make the day-to-day work feel meaningful. There are opportunities for career development, especially for those who are proactive and willing to take on new challenges. The company is innovative and open to new ideas, and leadership genuinely encourages input from across the team. The flexible work schedule is also a great benefit that supports work-life balance, and everyone is more than willing to step in to support each other when needed. Team events and retreats are also a great way to connect with colleagues outside of day-to-day work.

Cons

Working at a fast-paced, evolving organization requires strong organization and adaptability. Priorities and workloads can shift quickly, which can sometimes create ambiguity or competing demands. As with many growing companies, processes and roles/responsibilities are continuously evolving, requiring flexibility, comfort with change, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
