Pros
Genting is good company, basic salary offered for hotel industry is high from others hotel at downtown. Bonus every year is a must. Most of the employees survive and work for long term because of the benefits Genting offered. Hostel provided, cafe near hostel, variety food (at cafe) with affordable price. Self service laundry provided with super cheap price.
Cons
Depends on which hotel and department you work with. I need to encounter with micromanage HOD & AHK’s. The instructions given not consistent. Their actions not professional at all, they love to give staff misconduct, warning letters and suspension for mistakes that they not really investigate. They love to use emotion than their brain. Workload too heavy without any overtime pay (depends on department) but they expecting staff to work on.
