Pros

Many nice people work there and the office space is fancy. If you need a job in Covington, this is one of the few employers there.

Cons

Working at this company is like working in some kind of alternate universe, where good is bad, smart is dumb and the past is the future. The only way this company knows how to address personnel issues is to fire their employees. I saw multiple coworkers get fired (several of whom had been working there for years). They were fired without any attempt to remedy the issue, no warning, no attempt to mediate disputes, nothing. Just show up to work one day after working there for five years and -- you're fired we are escorting you out of the building. No concern for knowledge transfer or the company's reputation. So demoralizing for the team, part of the company culture is joking about being fired as a way to deal with the emotional impact. So dysfunctional. There's a pervasive sense of fear each day that it might be your last. Part of the sense of fear comes from the lack of clear direction or planning. Management makes plans and decisions without discussion or even writing anything down. Meetings happen without any agenda or clear goal, everyone shows up late, no one makes any decisions, and you leave with a confused feeling about what just happened. Then you don't understand what the expectations are, and you just feel more fear that you're going to be fired for not doing whatever it is that management thinks you're supposed to be doing. But don't speak up about making a change or improvement. Don't challenge anyone about actually getting anything done, or disagree with a decision or attempt to have a rational discussion, or try to contribute your expertise. You are liable to be fired for hurting someone's feelings. Put your head down, sit there in silence, collect your paycheck, and pray you are meeting the minimum expectation. Their technology is ancient. The only technical experience you will gain is in dealing with archaic technology, keeping the life support going and fire drills when the duct tape can't hold it all together any more. The best employees either get the hell out, or are kicked out. That leaves only those who don't care or don't know what they are doing.

Pros

Good pay and benefits with a quick interview process.

Cons

Strong opposition to AI or looking things up. Outdated network with scary security given the ties with Apple and government. Last minute travel demands and poor communication.
