Pros

Decent pay, benefits, working conditions. The managers and other employees are friendly

Cons

They claim they can't find people to work there, but when there are employee relations problems, such as harassment by other employees, going to HR won't do you any good. Anybody who has been in the working world for some time knows that HR is really only there to cover the company's behind, not yours. If you go to HR in any company, you are under constant surveillance, and people know this. Essentially HR is a plant on a window sill, with little to no power to protect employees. They claim they can't find people, but wonder why they leave when they're not being treated fairly. You can't live on minimum wage in Windsor and expect people to pay for car insurance, bills, etc. They might as well stick with Foreign Workers and claim they can't find Canadian workers. Of course foreign workers will do the job -- they're from a desperate country! Now they get on the newspapers and cry they can't find workers. It's their own faults.
