Pros
The company does have a relaxed corporate office environment. The IT department is filled with some great people.
Cons
The benefits are absolute garbage. Your health benefits do not start until 90 days of employment, and you do not begin accumulating PTO until you’ve worked with the company for a full year. Holidays are minimally given, and some holidays, July 4th, for example, you will be required to come into work but can leave early at 2 if you come to the company-hosted event 45 minutes from the office. Otherwise, you’re staying until 5. You can expect your starting pay to be the bare minimum, and there is no structure or indication of promotional pathways or pay raises - it’s a guessing game. The accounting floor at the corporate office has an extremely toxic and stressful environment. It was very apparent that, as long as people did their jobs, this was tolerated by management. I won’t say names, but the behavior displayed by an individual was absolutely unacceptable and is ultimately the reason myself and a couple others left the company. Their systems are from the 1980s. The culture is very, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Therefore, expect a lot of ancient techniques involving excessive amounts of paper usage and an unnecessary workload.
