Pros

Not a lot of positives with Hartley but both the team of sales executives and the installers are top notch.

Cons

Small office that thrives on gossip & rumors intentionally creating conflict within the office staff. They hijack time, energy and trust turning coworkers against each other & distorting reality while management turns a blind eye. I brought these concerns to management and even referenced the Glassdoor reviews to show this is a long standing problem that needs to be addressed (some dated long before my hire date) to which he accused me of writing ! I understood at that moment they were not interested in fixing the problem only in covering it up. No structure or training, no opportunity for growth. Total lack of management complete with favoritism and nepotism. Hypocrisy at its finest promoting sustainability yet does not even recycle paper or plastic because the would have to pay for a bin ! They fail to provide inclusivity or diversity but deliver dysfunction and toxicity that felt like a bad reality show. Low pay, poor benefits, unpaid overtime, undisclosed use it or lose it vacation, unprofessional & inappropriate office environment that was reported without consequence. They DO NOT value anyone outside of the OG- you are disposable hence the revolving door. All from a company that refers to itself as a Luxury Brand but treats employees worse than any discount store. I wish I had read their reviews before I wasted my time.

Cons

Place is like a circus. They expect you to immediately get the results of the person you replaced and when you don’t, fired. Lead time is 9 months or more, but they give you about 1 year. Pay is low and nowhere near market average. Benefits are costly and coverage is subpar at best. The culture is so bad. Pres loves being in the middle of the rumor mill. He has a few long term people who work in the office with him and he will speak poorly of his employees in front of them. Decision making is like getting teeth pulled. Even simple decisions can take weeks or months. The two people who run the show are running the business into the ground. Everything you read on here about them is 100% true. More gossip at this place than any other I worked at. Also, if you’re in sales and you quit for a better job or get fired they will not pay you outstanding commission even though your job duties are complete.
