Pros

- best work-life balance, remote work policy is flexible, I was never pressured to work outside of my bandwidth or overtime. I always received help when I needed it. I felt comfortable discussing concerns in my team. - my supervisors consistently asked for feedback on my satisfaction in my role and were always proactive in making sure I am happy -- whether it was with my projects, the management, my skills/ development, pay, hours, communication etc. - career growth: my supervisors helped me develop my skills and gave me projects to boost my expertise and allow me to move up in my role effectively - office culture: people are friendly and diverse, it is a young company and the office maintains a casual and open place to be yourself. There are many events and opportunities - depsite not being a tech company per say, the tech teams keep up to date on the latest industry-standard tools - Relocation Support: continuous support from HR for any and all German bureaucratic administrative help you may need - such as visa appointments and contacts, etc. - reduced price on HelloFresh boxes and some other perks

Cons

- well, many people were upset when the 50% remote work policy became more enforced. However, since the company does not give out remote-only contracts, it wasn't a huge surprise that they expected employees to be in-office 50% of the time. Perhaps the change was too abrupt? - Would be nice to have a bit more benefits like transportation discount

Pros

There are some genuinely nice people here but that is the only real positive. Even they are slowly leaving because the culture has become too toxic to stay in.

Cons

Highly political culture with no real promotions. Leadership is insecure, ego driven, and more focused on protecting themselves than supporting employees. Micromanagement is constant, communication is poor, and priorities shift without explanation. Quiet layoffs happen with no transparency and usually protect the same small group. The new US marketing lead has made the culture even worse. He was difficult to work with before and has only become more problematic in a higher role. There is constant questioning, no clear vision, and nonstop steering that sends teams in circles. It is hard to understand how he keeps moving up the ladder despite repeated negative scores and consistent employee feedback. Independent analysis, including the Grizzly Research report, highlights similar issues such as unstable leadership, lack of direction, and a business that feels like it is declining. What the report describes matches what employees experience inside the company. Even if the CEO or HR choose to ignore these problems, they remain the reality employees deal with every day.
