I really believed I would have had a long career at this company. In the beginning, I loved it so much. However, the DotCom today is VASTLY different from the DotCom of yesterday. The founder ran this company into the ground in about a 4 year period by chasing after anything that could make her money- partnerships, acquisitions, fancy connections, spin-off brands, and the worst....a health care platform. Over time, DotCom hemorrhaged so much money, it was scary. The new CEO (and investors) have taken over and destroyed everything this company was about, including its culture. Layoffs, wrongful terminations, and "forced" resignations are common place now. People simply disappear and no one talks about it. Definitely the most toxic, fake leadership I've ever worked under. Doesn't help that everyone at the top now is from healthcare, and they don't have a clue about schools.
Therapists are also miserable as clinical support has been drastically reduced, and it's all about the dollar. DotCom's only mission now is to make money at any cost- probably to keep investors happy. Perks have been taken away, and people are scared for the future. Leadership could care less about schools, or students. Did I also mention the platform NEVER works? It's pure crap.
Really truly sad. DotCom could have been one of the greats out there. She was different. She was good. Until she girl-bossed too hard, and lost it all.
