Not the best but not the worst - Registered Nurse Independence Health System (PA) Employee Review

The Staff at BHS is so friendly, welcoming and of course talented and skilled. I loved working there.

I was hired to administer vaccinations for period of time, and I was sad when it ended.

Supportive coworkers - working with imaging techs is fun. Task wise, not a job that uses a lot of brain power if any. Working a 4x10s schedule with Sundays off is also nice.

Very clerical. I wouldn’t recommend working here if you’re planning on going to school and need more hands-on patient experience. You’ll spend 75% of your time just greeting pts and making CDs. You’re basically a secretary but one who gets 10,000+ steps. Also super understaffed. expect to work 12 hour shifts alone and be run into the ground. Pay is super low and negotiating pay was like pulling teeth even though I was an internal hire with healthcare experience.
