Pros

The executive team holds a monthly town hall where they discuss the company's financials very candidly and share the success and challenges affecting the bottom line.

Cons

There is no culture in the NY office. On the one hand it is nice that we have the flexibility to work from home as needed but that leads to a desolate workspace where one never knows if a colleague will be in the office or not. What's lost is the chance encounters in the kitchen or the overheard conversation in the hallway about an ongoing project that might be of interest. There is no sense of an Invison way of doing things. The company is in the middle of trying to establish what tools an processes to put in place across the organization. At this stage in the company's life one would expect that to be established with maybe some initiatives to improve tools and process but it is if they have never existed.

Pros

I was able to experience site visits, sit in on client and rep meetings, and learn the in's and out's of what a daily interior designer lifestyle could be like.

Cons

Seeing more of a variety of projects.
