Pros

I've seen some outdated info on here, so for the people looking to join the team, here is an updated spec on the sales OTEs for 2019. Hope it helps! On the first day, we go over the salaries and commissions structure as a team, and career path options in our 1:1. Everything was in full transparency Inside sales rep position has an OTE of 70k: 40k base and 30k commission The account executive position has an OTE of 100k: 60k base and 40k commision Everybody has stock options and is eligible for a yearly bonus on top. As an SDR its 14k and I think 20k for account executives. Unlimited vacations, as long as your hitting your metrics. Health and dental care for everybody. My team member has children and I think he worked something out with family health as well. Besides that, our team and tech are awesome.

Cons

Have to be READY for the hustle of a startup. Have to be a fast learner.

Pros

- Many opportunities to grow within the company for those that are quick learners and proactive. - Unique and well differentiated product in a hyper competitive market. Lots of fun to work with prospects, and use the product day to day. There’s never a dull moment. - Clients are a blast to work with, and reach across the globe. I’m always learning something new, and really appreciate the gratitude they show for our help. - Great team based in Austin, always up to fun stuff. It’s been a pleasure to watch each of my teammates blossom and shine - Also a great city to be in! - The Semrush acquisition has been completed, and I’m very excited for the next chapter working with a company who believes in our product and team, and wants to super charge our operations.

Cons

- Competitive salary, but the cost of living in Austin has increased like crazy and this increase has not been reflected in our salary yet. - I won’t say it’s a con, but excited for the team to scale with the acquisition.

Pros

What makes this company great is the people, product and culture not to mention our terrific customers. From the top down there is a solid belief in the product we are creating, the service we provide and truly changing the way people compete. Our team is friendly, hardworking, intelligent and humble. From day one, the company makes a significant effort to invest in each and everyone one of us. New hires are fully trained on the product, use cases, buyer personas and most importantly, Kompyte's values and culture. There is also an emphasis on continuous education and staying sharp on the latest marketing trends (new hires are expected to obtain several certifications around inbound sales, marketing, social media and digital marketing within the first few weeks of starting). Our CEO and the rest of the leadership team are all incredibly supportive and approachable. In fact, the CEO leads weekly team meetings for open conversation about each person's week including the highs and the lows followed by happy hour. It also doesn't hurt that the company is located in a cool space in downtown Austin with all of the cold brew and snacks one could ever want! If you are lucky enough to work for Kompyte, you have an awesome opportunity to work with a supportive team and to contribute to something big.

You will struggle if you are uncomfortable with a fast-paced startup environment.
