Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we are sorry you have not had the experience you wanted, or that we would expect you to have. We do have some truly talented colleagues, who are great to work with and we are pleased to see you have also recognised the fast-paced environment with varied work and opportunities to learn. We are sorry to hear that you believe that leaders put money before wellbeing. Of course, as a business, financial performance is important but we do believe in the importance of looking after our people. We have put in numerous wellbeing initiatives and our wellbeing-related absence (e.g. from stress, anxiety, depression) has fallen from 26% in 2023 to just 5% so far in 2025. We are putting in place the foundations for our new career development pathways and more information on this will be announced in the upcoming 2-3 months. We have also launched a Mentoring programme this year and our Talent & Leadership Development programme for current and aspiring leaders. Our Learning Team can offer a consultancy service for career and learning pathways. We see you are a former employee so we wish you well and hope your next role is better suited to you. All the best to you.

Pros

I come to work every day excited to work with an amazing set of colleagues, an impressive set of clients and brands, and I'm proud of the solutions we provide to our clients to help them manage their risks - from ESG, Responsible Sourcing, Cybersecurity, Food Safety, and QHSE just to name a few. Being part of the LRQA team means every employee has a voice, every idea is welcome, and collaboration is key. If you're a driven professional looking to make a difference, focused on delivering results, with high energy who is proactive, thrives while working at pace, and excited to work with an amazing team, LRQA is a great organization to work for.

Cons

Work-life balance is encouraged but can be a challenge because we have so much to achieve. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to set and stick to their working hours.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience with workload, burnout, and leadership connection. We recognise the impact this can have and are investing in wellbeing initiatives and leadership development programmes. Looking at our most recent employee engagement surveys, we are pleased to say that we have progressed significantly in these areas and there are much higher levels of satisfaction with safety, wellbeing and leadership.
