Teachers and Students get the worst of it - Anonymous employee Lingoda Employee Review

We appreciate you taking the time to write this review, we take your comments and concerns seriously. We have many students learning via our platform creating a consistent stream of classes to be taught, therefore, there are a lot of classes for teachers to fill their schedules with. Thank you for recognizing this as a positive point. We appreciate you pointing out the need for improvements in our materials. Our qualified and dedicated Digital Education Department create the materials so that they follow the same layout and format, they do this to create a clean and streamlined design; making it easier for students to follow. Regarding the content of the material, as we have explained already in a response to a previous review; we are pleased to inform you that we have just recently released new materials for our most popular levels across each language section. With more than 30 pages per presentation and more than 2500 lessons, we have a total of 75000+ pages of learning materials, updating/making corrections takes some time. Remuneration may be lower than in traditional language schools, but Lingoda is not supposed to be a full-time job in the traditional sense, rather it is ideal as secondary or additional occupation. Where Lingoda differs in traditional schools we make up for by providing the infrastructure for teachers to teach as well as providing students, materials and flexibility. We truly regret that you did not see any value teaching with Lingoda but we hope to have addressed some of the issues you raised.
