Pros
This discount/hardware/dollar store at 2556 Granville Street in Vancouver has a wide selection of products and treats their customers fairly well. Too bad they don't do the same to their employees.
Cons
I found out soon enough that the couple running this store was paying all the part-timers under minimum wage (under the guise of a "training wage") and in cash. I tried to ask about it, but was immediately dismissed. On top of that, they set me and another 14-year-old to work selling lottery tickets even though we were still unlicensed. It seems like they routinely lure in unsuspecting youth for cheaper-than-legal labour.
