Not much growth opportunities for people in research, especially RAs. Very low pay, if you are in research.

    Pros

Great advisors, awesome facilities, good professional development, in downtown Houston, Texas!

    Cons

The climate in Houston is very hot. There is often traffic as well going from work to home if you live outside of downtown.

    Advice to Management

You are doing a great job. More events geared toward younger researchers, scientists, and professionals would do wonders for the social climate.
