Pros
It is a very large logistics business so the emphasis is that you can or maybe get promoted within internally. There a few genuine coworkers that care and support you. Subsidised lunch option is available.
Cons
The selling point is of the 2 year graduate program is that it’s ‘unstructured and you get to choose your path’. Don’t buy it as you will be working on the floor in operations forever if no other role opens up. Flexible work hours but expect a full 45 hour work week as a minimum. No work life balance even if you do live close. No WFH options. Get in, gain experience and consider getting out quick. The emphasis on a ‘family’ culture is just false. The word ‘staff’ is considered the company’s swear word. You get something wrong, you will be grilled for it. As everyone is your brother and sister, you are expected to be a team member helping everyone out and staying back. So if you forget your lunch break, that’s ok because as a family member, working with your fellow family is always worth your time. Expectations are high for a graduate yet there is no real onboarding or training to help you set into your role. It’s expected that you will float and swim straightaway without any help.
