Pros
Despite my 2 star rating I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Metricell. If you put the work in you will be rewarded with further responsibilities, this can be seen as a con to some due to you not receiving a financial benefit to extra responsibilities. However, at an entry level job I wanted to be thrown in the deep end and experience what the working world had to offer and Metricell delivered on that and some. All of my previous colleagues are great from Managing director level down, you just have to learn how to communicate with different levels of the hierarchy.
Cons
- Company morale took a large hit due to the removal of the hybrid work scheme - Not a friendly environment for remote workers - Director level upwards are becoming more and more detached from employees - Pay below industry average - Fear of promotion - The fear is that employees will leave if they are progressed too quickly, however this had the opposite affect in my situation
