Pros

Academic tutors are awesome and form tight bonds with their students. Kids are able to learn one-on-one, and you really feel you are making a difference when they succeed.

Cons

Owner was completely unprofessional and doesn’t respect anyone’s time (tutors, office staff, or parents of students). A lot of deception goes on to make sure parents keep their kids there, even if they cannot afford it. One parent kept complaining that the owner wasn’t getting back to her, and there wasn’t a sense of urgency to the owner when I kept bringing it up to her. Several other tutors left while I was there, and it felt like a revolving door.

Pros

Innovative and ambitious program that is making an impact inside and out.

Cons

More leadership needed to support the vision fully, they are working on getting more leaders to support and once it’s in place this program will be even more unstoppable. Great system that works and challenges everyone to think and grow .

Pros

The three years working at Miracle Math Coaching changed my life for the better. From learning hands on the power that educators make in individual lives to acquiring management and administration skills, Deanna Hurn supported and mentored each one of us. As a manager, she was proactive, enthusiastic, and understanding. Everyone from the students, parents, to co-workers embraced the slogan, 'Grow Thyself.' Learning is a journey that takes time, patience and love. Learning how to engage, enlighten and empower students along their journey fueled me along my path of becoming an educator. Deanna allowed me to invest in the skills I wanted to develop: running summer camp programs, working with different age groups, and supporting student in non-math subjects in addition to their math development. She understands the power of human creativity. With training workshops that helped employees grow and bond together. We all were a strong team. She would have one on one meetings to check in about work life balance. You could feel that she cared, which created a culture of support. It was an incredible environment to work and grow.

Cons

The only con's of working there was because you are working with individuals on appointments, you have to get there before they arrive with time to prepare materials for the lessons. I learned how to be more punctual.
