Cons
Do not believe the positive reviews on Glassdoor. Sort LOW to HIGH and check the dates. Most positive reviews have been flooded by the exec team after one negetive review to try and bury it. Some have even been posted by "Mogul influencers," who have never employed by the company. The most disappointing thing about this company is that the lack of transparency. I've seen their backend and Google Analytics and their true numbers are a minor fraction of the numbers they tout in press. I have confronted the CEO when I saw incorect numbers in press, and her response was always, "oh wow, that must have been a misprint." But continued to use those numbers in future interviews. In interviews, they say they want "startup people". People with strong voices and ideas. I am one of those people, but quickly found out that that they really want are quiet people who will do what they're told. Any pushback is viewed as a threat and you are pushed out (fired). The executive team is made of the CEO's family and friends who have little or no management experience. The lack of experience makes them very frustrating to work with. Too many decision makers for every decision. Serious mean girl culture. I came to the company for the mission. For wanting to make the world a better place for women. I left meetings, raise conversations, and eventually, the company feeling less empowered as an employee and became angry on behalf of women. They do not practice what they preach. The turnover rate for both employees and corporate partners is insanely high. For all of these reasons.
