Pros

The people that are developers there are great, especially the senior staff, you can learn a lot from them. The projects are great and interesting and the functionalities can include the bare necessities(integrations with delivery carriers and payment gateways, catalog and cart promos, etc) or implementations that are less usual for ecommerce and thus can be more challenging and interesting. The salary is good, although not up to par with inflation in my opinion and with the current demands that you, as developer could face from management. Hybrid model, you have 2 days of mandatory office attendance and 3 days remote, which is a life saver for people that use public transport.

Cons

The working hours are fixed and not very flexible There are not concessions for people that use public transport(public transport is poor in the area where the office is located) about getting late to the office or getting more remote days, The whole developer department gets berated when a client decides to leave, even if the client hasnt expressed any dissatisfaction about the provided services. Sketchy policies including a policy which introduces an unintended(i believe) loophole that could be exploited to treat a day that you actually worked as a day off on arbitrary grounds. Management demanding overtime after the fact when they didnt communicated that to you in a timely manner Overall a debilitating lack of trust against the developers and a culture of micromanagement. All of these negatives were much more bearable or even non existent before "Netsteps V2" and a so-called "transformation", the only positives i had seen as far as i was employed in that period was code reviews and better task management systems but that's about it, all else was going towards policies that made the environment more hostile and toxic

Pros

While the role can be fast-paced and challenging, the strong team culture and support system make it feel far less stressful than expected.

Cons

The company operates with a lean team, which means there can be a lot of projects to manage at the same time.
