Pros

At its core, a good product. Great mission to offer PGx at an affordable cost.

Cons

No funding, CEO doesn't really understand the science or the industry. For a startup, the CEO has an old school mentality (everyone expected to be at their desk working from 8-5). For a medical company, you would hope they would have more medical people than one PharmD.

Thank you for your feedback; it’s always appreciated so we can take action steps whenever it’s appropriate to do so. Continuous improvement is part of the culture here. We have very supportive investors and backing by Mayo Clinic. We do have a different CEO as of July 2019. As we continue to grow, we have additional medical staff, like a Chief Medical Officer (MD), and other Ph.D.’s as well as Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and Quality departments.

Pros

I like the small size and friendly employees. It's a collaborative environment and you can make a big impact quickly. I like the lack of red tape. I love knowing what we are doing positively affects the health of the patients we serve.

Cons

You may not necessarily have a large team under you, supporting you as a leader, depending upon the area you are working in.
