Pros
The look like a great place to work on paper.
Cons
I want to share my candid experiences during my time at Opsec Security, and I believe potential employees deserve to know the reality beyond the glossy exterior. First and foremost, the company's technology was not as cutting-edge as advertised. There were outdated systems and tools that hindered our productivity and limited our ability to excel in the ever-evolving cybersecurity industry. Furthermore, the starting wages were disappointingly low, leaving employees feeling undervalued for their hard work. Bonuses and incentives were removed, and there was no clear path for career growth, making it challenging to envision a future with the company. Management was a significant source of frustration. They rarely communicated with employees and set unrealistic expectations without providing the necessary resources or support. The directors seemed to protect managers, even when they exhibited questionable behavior, creating an environment of distrust and disconnection. Moreover, the recent acquisition spree raised concerns as the company seemed more focused on expanding rather than addressing the pressing issues faced by existing employees. The added workload burdened the staff, yet there were no signs of increased compensation or appreciation for their efforts. In conclusion, Opsec Security has serious issues that are difficult to overlook. From outdated technology to low wages and inadequate management practices, the company falls short in multiple areas. As a former employee, I believe potential candidates should be aware of these challenges before considering employment at Opsec Security. This place is, in fact, a trainwreck and their turnover is a direct reflection of it.
