Management runs you ragged, as do the ever increasingly down-market customers, many who undertip or don’t tip at all. You’ll spend 1-2 hours a day doing side work at $3.59 an hour. Management rules by fear, and watches like hawks for the tiniest infraction of their micromanaging rules. Was told the money was great, however I made between $14-16 an hour including tips, which wasn’t worth the stress. You literally drip with sweat most of the day. One manager told me numerous times a day he was going to “beat me up”, I assumed he was kidding but it was ultimately a depressing situation. Many of the servers have carpal tunnel due to the heavy plates and constant heavy side work.
