Pros
The first thing that surprised me about PAI Health was that nobody answered email on the weekends! Coming from startup culture, the idea that we were able to actually have REAL weekends was mind-blowing!
I love the transparency. Everyone offers input about everything, and it's really great to get those different perspectives.
The people are extremely nice, and it seems like everyone genuinely cares about each other.
I also love the feedback system; you get very good, actionable feedback on a regular basis, so it really helps you get better.
Cons
Despite the work-life balance, it's still got that startup culture. That means that sometimes, deadlines are insane and it can be very demanding. It's also a very complex THING - it takes awhile to fully understand what it is that we're working with, so there's a noticeable learning curve. And while I like getting feedback from everyone, that can also be a bit annoying and overwhelming at times, especially when you're new and still learning.
Mostly, I think that if you can stick it out through that learning curve phase (the first 1-3 months, usually), you'll love it, but just be forewarned that there is a lot to learn here.
