10yI want to thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Our goal as a company is to create a fun, comfortable, transparent and collaborative environment for all our employees so I’m disappointed and sorry that this was your experience.
We truly value all feedback and we’ll continue to find ways to improve but I do want to address a couple of your specific concerns here.
Benefits – Yes, our vacation and health benefits are limited. Four years ago we were a small company with less than 10 employees, today we are rapidly growing and have over 70 members on our team. During this amazing growth period we have had the opportunity to bring on some truly inspiring new employees with very bright future. March of this year (2016) we did roll out vacation packages for two additional organizational layers of employees which is something we were never able to offer in the past. We also rolled out an enterprise class payroll system which offers us greater flexibility in our ability to offer better benefits to our employees. Finally, we released revised health care packages that were improved over our previous plan and our goal is to reevaluate again in 2017 to include additional coverage such as vision and dental.
Promotions – Yes, some new positions of opportunity will be a lateral move, others will be promotions. This is due to our rapid rate of growth, the current position of an interested employee and our need to structurally reorganize as a company to keep up with the ever growing demand of leading our constantly growing team.
I know these modifications were not enough to ultimately satisfy your needs with us but we will continue to strive for improvement of our business both for our customers and our employees. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and want to thank you again for this feedback. We truly intend to use it to help us grow professionally and to make a better work environment for our employees.
