Good working environment for new employees

Stressful at the start of working

1. Good company to join as fresher. More work and fast learning if on a good project. 2. Mostly need to contribute independently on work. This helps in self learning and confidence building. 3. Small but good workplace. Friendly people. 4. Recreation room with table tennis available all the time. 5. No particular dress code. People are allowed to be in casuals. 6. They celebrate major festivals with events, and monthly birthdays. 7. Amusement trips yearly once. Team lunches.

1. Less number of employees. So more responsibilities and pressure on individuals. 2. They ask to work on irrelevant skills when there is no project of your skill set. 3. Not an organized company. No defined policies. Policies change when the top management intend to without notice to the employees. 4. Appraisal is good comparing to the big MNCs, but initial package is usually very low. 5. Difficult to take vacation more than a week. 6. Sometimes people work on multiple projects at a time. This puts negative impact on work-life balance. 7. Lack of well-experienced seniors. Mostly freshers and 2-4 years of experienced people. 8. No proper training in the initial phase of career. 9. Lack of proper infrastructure for some of the technologies. 10. Most of the time senior management does not care about employee satisfaction. 11. Almost no onsite opportunities.
