Pros

Some coworkers are great. Chairman is a tremendous individual.

Cons

Too many organizational changes. Senior leadership worries more about what the board thinks rather than focus on their employees. Too much turnover; They will fire anyone for any little reason. There is no real “culture”. New CEO has no idea what he is doing at the helm. Insurance is very expensive, no raises for anyone this year, and overall, there is no alignment amongst different teams. Pharos isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread. There isn’t really a focus on print management from a potential customer standpoint. Not many companies really care about it. Our solution is a “nice to have” rather than a “need to have”. I truly believe everything has gone downhill.

Pros

Competitive benefits package. Good work life balance compared to many companies in the industry. Flexibility where needed, depending on the role. Opportunities for cross functional collaboration. Supportive colleagues who are willing to collaborate. Leadership that is generally approachable and open to questions. A culture that values professionalism and accountability. Feeling that your work contributes to meaningful outcomes.

Cons

Role clarity may shift during reorganizations or strategic pivots. Some roles may require managing many priorities at once. Some decisions or changes may not be communicated as clearly or as early as employees would like.

Pros

Collaborative and Caring culture- Supportive leadership and cross-functional teams Ownership and autonomy- I have worked with multiple product-oriented companies that are stakeholder-driven. After working here, I can proudly say that the ideas are not only accepted, but you get the opportunity to implement them. Learning exposure- 1:1 exposure with the customer not only helps gather the problems but also helps with releasing a fully functional feature that drives the growth of the enterprise. New Challenges every day- This helps me grow, as this is a fast-paced SaaS company, every day is a mix of customer issues, bugs, priorities, long-term goals, next sprint planning, ideation, etc. This is a benchmark for growth that does not inhibit creativity. Remote Work flexibility- With work from home flexibility and an open PTO option, this allows a great work-life balance, which is very important for me.

Cons

It can take time to understand the product. Because of the nature of the technical capabilities of the product, it can be challenging and time-consuming to understand the product before you understand gaps and challenges to further contribute as a product manager. Limited product training- The process is still evolving as the company is growing. Process is still evolving- Like many growing companies that are fast paced, documentation and other process improvements are still evolving.
