Decent starting position, but not competitive for the market - Performance Maintenance Technician Principal Service Solutions Employee Review

Pros

Quick hiring process and training

Cons

Poor support structure, low pay compared to similar companies hiring for the same position. I was offered a wage increase to be more in line with competition after a couple years of employment, but it never appeared on my paycheck and when I asked my direct manager, I was told that the increase was offered in error

Pros

The hiring and onboarding process was easy and the salary and benefits were good. If you don't mind working overtime there was plenty of that to go around.

Cons

Very fast learning curve and short term 1 year assignment. I can appreciate that my assignment ran a few months longer.

Pros

The starting pay at TSMC is ridiculous and they give you pay raises every few weeks if you can last that long

Cons

Well, I can start with 30 minutes round-trip to use the restroom when you’re inside of the clean room it takes over 20 minutes maybe 30 minutes to walk to the parking area lots and lots of walking. You’re gonna probably put 5 to 10 miles every day walking at TSMC, no female in any type of leadership position and the safety female in the (Muratek)is very emotional. She’s all over the place a loose cannon if you ask me the other three safety officers or safety employees for that site are amazing.

Thank you for your review. Firstly, we are not a Temp Agency - PSS is a Managed Service Provider and you are a full time PSS employee supporting our end customer. Much of what you share is site specific. We do not make TSMC's rules but are required to make sure that our employees comply with them. Regarding your other feedback on DEI and participation in weekly all employee meetings, I encourage you to reach out directly to your Operations Manager, HR or myself.
