Sickly corporate atmosphere, especially if you go to head office. If you're on site, then it is you vs. everyone mentality or groups. Want progression? Forget it (unless you're in the people team of course. They look after their own). You'll always see the People team promotions, job title changes etc more than any other department. Then there's the infamous micromanager! How are things going for you now the team are dropping like flies under your "leadership?" My confidence was shattered to pieces working here. People knew. Some cared. Most didn't. They did everything to make sure I didn't thrive. Oh let's not for forget the redundancy after redundancy. All nice and shiny on the outside. But the toxic cracks show soon enough.
