My experience at this company was ultimately disappointing due to the workplace culture and lack of support.
One of the main issues was the team environment. There was a noticeable culture of gossip and back-channel criticism. Colleagues would often make negative comments about others’ performance rather than addressing issues constructively. This created a lack of trust within the team and made it difficult to feel comfortable or supported at work.
Workload expectations were also challenging. Overtime was treated as normal rather than exceptional, and there was little recognition or appreciation for the extra hours put in. This made it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
In terms of management and communication, expectations were not always clearly defined. Feedback was sometimes indirect or delivered through others, which made it harder to understand how to improve or align with expectations. When clarification was needed, responses were not always timely, which could impact deadlines and overall performance.
Overall, I believe the company would benefit from fostering a more supportive and transparent culture, improving direct communication, and setting clearer expectations for employees.
