Being in the processing/operations department, they promise internal promotion after 8 months of being there. Clearly, one must be a hard worker and meet qualifications, but from when I first started to when I quit, everyone I was either trained by or peers with was promoted within or at their 8 months. Being acknowledged for my work and meeting qualifications, when the chance came, not only did I not get the job, they gave it to person who had only worked there for 2.5-3 months max vs. my 8 months in the same position.
For some reason they think doing department-oriented events or having food on specific days shows employee appreciation.
The company culture is something that 's forced upon you, not something they embrace.I
The one department they can't keep people at is Processing and it has a horrible micro-manager at its lead.
