Pros

Freedom to make executive decisions on how the business was wrong based on my judgment and experience. Working with The guest in becoming an integral part of the wedding party and planning process, making the most important day in a woman’s life extra special. I really enjoyed being the face of the company and seeing the gratitude on the families after my choiced and hard work made their day one they will alwsys rember fondly

Cons

Due to the unstable condition of owner and corporate management the stress load and workload put on myself and fellow employees became unmanageable I am

Pros

The management was very personable. Open to hearing concerns and new ideas. By far the friendliest kitchen staff I have worked with.

Cons

Tucked away in Cohasset, the restaurant was sometimes overshadowed by larger venues held in the Inn part of the property. This resulted in the occasional unusual slow night or a hectic evening depending on the party.

Pros

-Good money in the peak season -Great camaraderie between staff

Cons

- Neurotic upper management that is petty, disrespectful and disorganized. - Kitchen is disgusting, health code violations everywhere. I know of at least two separate incidents where employees contracted food borne illness from improperly stored/re-heated staff meal served here. Ice machines and soda lines were often moldy due to inadequate cleaning. - Guests are constantly rude and demeaning. They will curse and yell at you, but they will still have their meal comped because of the horrible "the customer is always right" attitude they have there. - Building itself is dilapidated, musty, and borderline unsafe to work in. - HR constantly doing stupid, performative "please don't quit" gestures like giving out ice cream or massage clinics that happen during service hours, so most employees (except the managers that sit around upstairs and do nothing all day) can't even attend. - Owners are constantly throwing parties for and comping meals for themselves, as well as their friends and family during busy service hours. If you have any self respect, you'll do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
