Payment was horrible compared to the work we were doing. Whenever I got a raise, it was a pathetically low increase. Work material was long and repetitive. We would go some months of having exceptionally large workloads and barely meeting deadlines.
A lot of our work material was quite subjective and could be interpreted several different ways at time and yet we judged or rewarded depending on how we interpreted the work given to us. As if it we were taking exams.
Not to mention we had a toxic bully of a QA Coordinator for years that micromanaged, watched us like a hawk, didn’t welcome new ideas or inputs, and sometimes made distasteful comments towards individuals on our team. He embarrassed each of us on several occasions and it took RELI forever to get rid of him.
Communication was also awful. When I moved into a Hubzone, I wasn’t even notified that I qualified for additional HUBZONE pay. I found out by accident and notified them. Emails with HR and the Recruitment teams sometimes went unanswered, like when I sent referrals or applied for a higher position.
