I see no pros in working for a company that doesn’t value their employees.

Cons

ResQ is a company that often touts the slogan "do more with less," but in reality, this mantra seems to result in high turnover and burnout among teams due to a lack of adequate assistance. Despite the organization claiming to be a startup, using phrases like "maybe you can't hack it," as an attempt to cover up their lack of empathy towards low morale is not acceptable in a professional environment. Furthermore, credit is not given where it's due, and ideas are frequently taken from others without proper recognition or compensation. The management at ResQ is quick to blame teams and individuals for problems that arise, leading to heightened levels of stress and fear among employees. Instead of addressing the broken processes throughout the organization, they prefer to preach about "extreme ownership," shifting the blame to employees rather than taking responsibility for the flawed systems in place. The lack of support, recognition, and empathy towards employee morale at ResQ has resulted in a toxic work environment, causing turnover and burnout among teams. The management's tendency to blame employees and disregard their contributions, while taking credit for their ideas, is a clear indication of a dysfunctional organization that fails to value and support its employees. It's high time for ResQ to address these issues and prioritize the well-being and professional development of its employees to create a healthier and more productive work environment.

If you’re looking for a fast paced environment, and a niche product with excellent UI, this is the place for you. Constant changes but usually for the better.

Cons

Fully remote with HQ in Canada can be isolating at times.

Pros

Rapidly growing tech startup in the hospitality + service partner space. I've had a wonderful ~9 months here, and anticipate a lot of fun, fast-paced growth ahead. As with any startup, there is rapid change, development, team changes, and the needs of the business shift. If you look at ResQ through that logical lens, it's an incredible place to work where you'll get to experience a ton of career growth, fast, on-the-job learning, and the ability to make an impact.

Cons

If you're looking for a role/company where you can sit back and just collect a paycheck, look elsewhere! ResQ requires thoughtful endurance and a positive mindset. None of this is a 'negative', just sharing the reality of joining an early-stage startup.
