I have been working at Rio Tinto full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Fairly decent salary Flexibility in some roles

    Cons

Red tape galore Incompetent, self serving management Lack of alignment between product business units and centralised functions A high percentage of experienced staff have exited the business in the last 7 years. The use of labour hire contracts for white collar roles

    Advice to Management

Back off from the slash and burn cost cutting, stop the sham contracting nonsense of using labour hire contracts and performance manage poor leaders out of the business.
