Sometimes sodas break but what are you going to do?

The work itself was fun! Customers were lovely and most of the time it felt like I got paid to hangout with my friends.

The owners were not very good people. Not only did they do everything they could to work me full time without giving me full time pay or benefits, but they put me in a lot of very uncomfortable if not straight up dangerous situations. They made us wear name tags even though myself and the other women had problems with stalkers and sexual harassment. They often refused to hire nonbinary people and if they did hire someone nonbinary, they would be actively hostile about being asked to use correct pronouns. Worst of all: they made me clean up the blood of a homeless man without gloves, and tried to have me put the contaminated product back on the floor. I had to quit after that.
