Pros
Admin is wonderful and pours into each employee, as they do the students. They listen, help, and guide. Working with children is rewarding and being a part of the Guidance Office allows you to make a difference for students and their families. Not to forget, summer, fall, Christmas, and spring break off!
Cons
Compensation is not a livable wage - especially if your household doesn't include dual earners. Being paid monthly is very challenging and requires advanced planning for fund allocation and discipline.
Don't love starting work at 6:45 am, despite enjoying being off by 2:15 pm.
