Pros
great colleagues LM who is supportive interesting projects/studies
Cons
If you do your job well, work life balance is non existent. discretionary PTO is not really discretionary, you have to have a back up and if you are the only person on the team with CRA or a lead with experience... good luck. Absolutely no time for training with the expectations and priorities on project delivery but then punished when training not done. lots of new employees who don't know their role and expect to execute. I am assigned to projects which do not allocate enough time to execute requests that takes time and thought to ensure strategic execution leading to disappointment from sponsors. I will not bend over backwards just because the company is short staffed. Lots of good dedicated CRAs with great experience who spend time being diligent and go the extra mile to do the right thing, and don't cut corners are now flight risks because their LM would tell them things like "bring your laptop on PTO" and are being told they need to be flexible and work on weekends. This is not acceptable. Leadership says they are focusing on people but in communications only focus on business. I do not recommend coming here and tell my close colleagues in the industry to stay away. people are not appreciated.
