Pros
I joined this company having never worked in sales and did learn a lot about recruitment and the technology world in general. At the time the team was a bit mad as you expect from a sales floor but it was a good team. I also have earned good money over my time here and while most of it is self motivated I have built myself a good network for the future. At one point the incentives were also good.
Cons
Unfortunately the senior management of the company constantly make decisions changing nearly every last detail of the business every 6 months or so. These decisions are never communicated well to staff often completely demoralising everyone on the sales floor. Blind faith has been put into newcomers into the business before they have proved they can do the job. Long term members of the business are often removed without a word. Offices in other locations are shut down without a word. Incentives once good and exciting became either boring/unwanted or unreachable. The business never grows. I spent over 3 years there and we would get to around 20/25 people then swiftly numbers would drop to around 10. Blame is always attributed away from one person in these circumstances. Weirdly always groups of people leave rather than singular and its always relating to management. Unfortunately I also haven't seen anyone leave on good terms ever. The commission changed over the past 6 months meaning people earnt less money even though management tried to tell them they earnt more. Towards the end of my time the office was not a good place to be, it was quiet with no atmosphere.
