Pros

-Summer Fridays (Leave @ 3pm every Friday between Memorial Day & Labor Day) but then you are expected to work longer hours on Monday-Thursday. -You can make a lot of money if you are a slave to your job and don't plan on having a social life for the first year and a half working here. -2 hour lunches three days a week (but you will still be asked to work through lunch which defeats the purpose of a longer lunch). -You will learn how to sound good on the phone due to the sheer amount of cold calling. -You gain valuable interview experience, and general experience dealing with people. -Learn what you don't want in your next job.

Cons

-You can't do anything without being micromanaged. You will constantly be asked "What are you working on right now?" -You're practically told to lie to clients/candidates about your business tactics. Talener thinks it's above other hack recruiters but they fit right in with the group. -Everything is "Do as I say, not as I do" which in itself is just poor practice. Mostly bad role models. -Lots of wasted time with meetings, which I'd hardly consider to even be meetings. -No one cares anything about you, be prepared to go into the back room with your manager for a "meeting" (aka get yelled at) if you don't fit their ideal & perfect mold of an employee. -Very unprofessional. Don't be surprised if you get cussed at, or just generally hear f-bombs and slurs all day. Like another person said, this is definitely frat-boy culture. -Expected to do additional work at night and during the weekends.

Sorry to hear that you feel this way. But there are a few things to be cleared up. This is a sales environment and it is no secret that it is a TOUGH environment. Sales is not an easy role and everyone is not cut out for it. And that's OK! But sometimes part of sales means going above and beyond normal working hours to make connections and ultimately make the sale. Likewise, through the hiring process, it is clear that the days are scheduled in a certain manner. This is managed this way because it is a team environment. Everyone needs to be on the same page and be able to help each other without people being away or at meetings. We're sorry to hear that it wasn't the right fit but hope that you find success in another role.
