Pros

They are a work-hard company; this is a pro if you're into that type of thing. They are fun to work for, and if you can enjoy yourself if you're in the 'In' crowd.

Cons

I'm shocked to see Tanda have a 4-star rating on here. There's a possibility they have improved in the past few months. However, they are known to not be good to work for in the development community. I've heard other CEOs talk about how they are known for treating their employees poorly. I know previous employees who did a lot for the company and didn't get the recognition they deserved. They are known to have a cliquey culture, and that's because of the lack of age diversity in the team.

Pros

Lots of autonomy and growth is there for the taking you just have to want it and go after it.

Cons

Communication can struggle at times from the top down.

Pros

- Very ambitious group of people who want to do big things. - Smart in their respect to software development. From what I've heard, it's a good place for young professionals to get some useful experience under their belt. - Casual dress code and monthly happy hours (before the pandemic).

Cons

- Management needs to be more unified in their decisions, since there is no single CEO that the company reports to. - Well-thought-out plans were not implemented. Management doesn't do enough research on strategic decisions before they are made. They will get an idea and run with it before talking with department heads to see if it makes sense or what the repercussions will be. - Not enough transparency with their employees. Undermining managers by talking to their subordinates without the manager's knowledge. - Management seems to care more about the time spent at your desk as the signifier of productivity. - The Chicago office is left messy and unkept on a regular basis (was not like this before the merger). There's a big lack of respect for the shared space of the kitchen.
