    Pros

    The Council's mission of promoting global engagement makes it feel good to work there. It's full of capable, passionate people doing interesting things, and the networking opportunities through events are hard to beat.

    Cons

    As a nonprofit, it doesn't pay junior staff well. There's probably some planned turnover. That's understandable. Sometimes the passion of the staff can lead to tension because everyone wants everything to be as good as possible, but they have competing visions.

    The work is engaging and there are a lot of opportunities to connect with and network with interesting and dedicated professionals

    Cons

    Interns have make an active effort to connect with coworkers, but if you do it isn't hard
