Pros

Consistent work schedule, some good non-medical insurance related benefits

Cons

Insurance cost is too high with high deductibles and information when finding care is incorrect more often than not, micro management is rampant but is only one way as many concerns or questions about processes and policies are brushed off until it becomes a widespread issue, job stability has gone down due to outsourcing consultants and replacing many job tasks with AI systems.

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
